Testimony of our conscience!
2 Kings
{17:15}
And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he
made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he
testified against them; and they followed vanity, and
became vain, and went after the heathen that [were] round
about them, [concerning] whom the LORD had charged
them, that they should not do like them.
Rejected God's testimonies!
Ps.
{19:7} The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the
testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple.
{93:5} Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O
LORD, for ever.
God's testimonies are sure!
Ps.
{119:22} Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy
testimonies.
{119:24} Thy testimonies also [are] my delight [and] my counsellors
Kept God's testimony- God's testimonies are a delight, they are counsellors.
Think about it-- testimonies as counsellors, advisiors; how wonderful is that?
Isa.
{8:16} Bind up the testimony, seal the law
among my disciples.
2 Cor.
{1:12} For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our
conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with
fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our
conversation in the world, and more abundantly to youward.
Testimony of our conscience!
What is the testimony of your conscience? What should the testimony of our conscience be? Christ Jesus lives now and forever!
Jesus died for us and rose again that should be our testimony now and always.
God's testimony is sure, the record of God is sure. The knowledge we have of God speaks for Him, He's not left us in the dark to flounder but has given us the testimony of Himself so that we may know Him. He's a delight, He's our surety in a world that offers no surety.
The testimony of God is our testimony. We must keep this testimony in our hearts ever before our conscience.
God First Always!
By the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ now and forever.
Amen.

Zec 1:7 '...came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet,...
Zec 1:9 Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.
The word of the Lord came to His prophets. We know that God spoke to various prophets throughout time and that word often came by angels.
'...and the angel that talked with me said...'
It's amazing to think about angels talking to people like you and I in the respect that those people were human just as you and I are human. God chose these men and women for His purposes and not all of them were willing to just go off and prophesize for Him- remember Jonah? The men and women God chose to speak to His people for Him were blessed but they suffered in that blessing as so often happens with men and women chosen by God. We want God to use us, to accept us, and His using us sometimes translates to us as His acceptance. God has many people who love Him and are willing to be used by Him, or at least we like to believe He does. What sacrifices are we willing to make for God? Who among us would be willing to speak the words given to us by God through an angel? Most would shout yes, they'd be willing and not hesitate, right? I mean an angel of God speaking to us, speaking in such a way that you could converse back and forth with the angel, that is just something so utterly amazing it boggles the mind. God speaks to us through His word. The word He's given to men, men inspired by the Holy Spirit, men, some of whom spoke with angels of God. We don't have all the answers to the questions raised and faith has to play a HUGE part in our belief. We need to believe that God does speak to us through His word. He's given us His word, the Words of His Son, He's given us so much and we need to realize how blessed we are to have these words. We can't lament the desire to be a prophet and have that direct communication with God through His angels when we have so much of His word that many years and years ago never ever had. Just realizing that we are so incredibly blessed is important and we need to listen...really listen to God speak to us through His word, through His prophets... through His love.
By the grace and mercy of our Lord now and forever.
Amen.

Psa 71:1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
Psa 71:2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape…
Cause me to escape.
What do we need to escape from? Seriously, what?
Psa 141:10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
Wicked nets. Yes, we need to escape from the wicked and their evil nets they lay down hoping to trap those that would be God's.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Watch…pray always…to be accounted worthy to escape all these things…
Luk 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
Luk 21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
Luk 21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
Luk 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Luk 21:12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
Luk 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Luk 21:14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
Luk 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
Luk 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
Luk 21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
Luk 21:18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
Luk 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
Luk 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
Luk 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
Luk 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Luk 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Luk 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
Luk 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
Luk 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Luk 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Luk 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
So much to escape!
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
How are we worthy to escape? ONLY IN CHRIST'S RIGHTEOUSNESS! We need HIM to cause us to escape! We need to escape there is no doubt about it but it's not escaping out of the trials and tribulations, but escaping the evils of the world so that we may possess the good world- eternal life in Christ our Savior. We need to escape the EVIL that can and will seduce so many people. Snares will come on ALL them that dwell on the face of the whole earth, ALL them! Snares will come- we can escape from those snares though and that escape is in our Savior no where else!
Is it any wonder we should pray-- 'cause me to escape' ? We need to be caused to escape. On our own we cannot escape of that there is NO doubt at all whatsoever. Christ can cause us to escape through HIS righteousness- remember this- 'Deliver me in thy righteousness' it comes right before this- 'cause me to escape'. We escape the evil that would take God from us, that would strip eternal life in the goodness o our Lord and Savior only through Christ's righteousness.
Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
How shall we escape if we neglect CHRIST as our SAVIOR?! We won't, we really, really won't escape any evil whatsoever but by Christ our Lord. He is our hope! Our ONLY hope!
In His love!
Forever and always!
Amen.
