Seek ye the LORD while he may be found
Isaiah
{55:6} Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near
***
We need to seek the Lord.
We need to call upon the Lord.
We need to put ourselves out there so to speak. Many people don't put themselves out there. They don't seek, but rather expect to be sought.
We need God to live, God doesn't need us to live. Long before we were, He was. We are His creation and sometimes, often we forget that. And we are a wicked people if we can forget something so amazing. Our very breath comes from God. Our very heart beat comes from God. Maybe we're not always thrilled with our lives. Some people are born with defects that make them curse God and yet they have a chance to praise Him for His giving them life and knowing that one day, should they choose to worship and love Him, He will take away all their imperfections and give them glory they can't even realize. Easy to say, I know, I know-- very hard to do. We are so turned inward to ourselves that nothing else seems to matter but us and how we feel, what we think, what we want, what we know, we could careless about other things except as they affect our lives. Sure we can help others but how many people do so because they want the recognition, the glory for their helping? Selflessness is so important and until we realize that and make it a reality in our lives we'll forever be chained down to ourselves and not looking to God. God will help us become the selfless creatures that we need to become, but only if we seek Him- only if we call upon Him.
Isa. {55:7} Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
We need to forsake our wicked ways, we need to forsake our unrighteous thoughts- we need to return to the Lord and find mercy and pardon in Him.
{55:8} For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
God's thoughts and His ways are not our thoughts and ways. He is past our understanding and by faith we have to believe that He knows what is best for us beyond anything we could ever imagine.
{55:9} For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
{55:10} For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater
{55:11} So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
{55:12} For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
{55:13} Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the
LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
{56:1} Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. {56:2} Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
We are giving blessings from God for following His ways. We have to do the following, that is our part. We have to do the seeking, the calling, it is our part to seek and follow, to call to God. We can't do nothing and hope it happens. We have a part to play. Is it a works? No. It's by the Grace and Mercy of our Lord and Savior, now and forever, only by Him that we will ever become one with Him, fully with Him and through Him with the Father. May the Holy Spirit guide us and as we seek may He take over and make our miniscule effort into something amazingly wonderful, something beyond our comprehension.
In Christ forever!
Amen.

The fool.
When we think of a fool we immediately can substitute that word for stupid, or we combine them to say stupid fool. We don't immediately think wicked when we think of fool, or impious, and fools in our minds are always considered vile people. Yet here we have this verse--
The FOOL hath said in his heart THERE IS NO GOD.
-- and this word fool goes beyond the way we normally interpret it. The wicked person, the vile person is more like it. The ungodly, the irreligious person will say in their hearts there is no God.
Do you know anyone that says there is no God? Do you know anyone that doesn't believe in God? Or maybe you know people who believe in God but just not the fact that He has any power at all. Some treat God as a huge joke. In our world anything goes. The rich and powerful, those considered highly intelligent, genius even, these people men and women alike, all fools.
Believing in their hearts that there is no God. Could this also include those who pretend to love God? There are a lot of people who say they believe in God but they don't, not really, not with a living faith. How many pretenders are there? More than we probably care to think about. Jesus will say to many that He never knew them. Why wouldn't He know them? Because they don't have a real faith, a real belief in God. Jesus will never say He never knew one that believes in Him fully in all faith, in all hope, trusting in Him for Salvation. The liar He won't admit to knowing, the fool He won't admit to knowing.
Could it be true that there might be some who say they don't believe in God, yet in their hearts they do?
Saying something in our hearts doesn't mean we always reveal it to others.
This verse goes on to say-- They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Whether blatantly or secretly- people can be corrupt, they can have works that are abominable, they can do no good. Some people don't hide their evil works, others hide them completely. God knows our hearts. God knows how we believe. God knows our faith, nothing is hidden from God, nothing.
God is alive!
God is real!
God is a living faith!
God is more real than any other!
If we live our lives believing God is far away and not aware of all our goings on, God is not real to us. If we live our lives believing God only sees us when we want Him to, God is not real. If God exists in our lives ONLY when we worship Him for an hour a week, or a day a week, or when we say grace before a meal or before sleeping… He's not real. God is always with us, always knowing. God is REAL.
Even the brightest person can be a fool. Even the kindest person can be a fool. We can't judge who is and isn't a fool- not always. Some are outright fools boasting there is no God, yet in the end we can't know even their hearts. May God bless us and keep us in Him, may we NEVER be fools, may we always believe that God is real with a very living faith and belief in His reality. Even at our darkest, even IN our darkest hours may our faith hold firm and unwavering.
By the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior, now and forever!!! In His righteousness! In His LOVE always!
Amen.

The judgment we
all face.
Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted,
that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from
the presence of the Lord;
Act 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which
before was preached unto you
Sins are recorded
but they can be BLOTTED out. Just
as they can be blotted out, they can also be left to remain.
If they're not blotted out then the person must account for them and as
we well know, a person has no righteousness in which to save themselves. We are
only saved by the grace of our Savior through His sacrifice, by His forgiveness
there is no other way. We can try to blot out our own sins but it'll never
happen. We can even try to blot
out another's sins, but that won't happen either. The record made of our sins
can only be blotted out by Jesus Christ.
Psa 51:1 ...Have mercy upon me, O God, according
to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot
out my transgressions.
David wanted his
transgressions to be blotted out.
Psa 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot
out all mine iniquities.
Isa 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy
transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
And then we have
verses about NOT blotting sins out.
Neh 4:5 And cover not their iniquity, and let
not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to
anger before the builders.
Jer 18:23 Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their
counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out
their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with
them in the time of thine anger.
Again we are
drawn to the Day of Atonement, why? Because the blotting out of sin, the
cleansing of the record of sin is typified in that Day of Atonement. Jesus is
our High Priest in heaven and as such He has the work of a High Priest to
undertake. That work is has been shown to us through the earthly sanctuary
services. Why else would we be told Jesus is our High Priest? Why?
Heb 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken
this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of
the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
Heb 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the
true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
Maybe it feels as
if I'm repeating the same things over and over and I probably am. It's just so
incredibly important for us to realize all this as factual, not some man-made
concoction. Jesus our prophet,
our priest, and our king. Right now our Savior has the role of our high priest
and as such we will be judged by a record of our acts, a record of our choices,
whether or not we have our Savior as our Advocate, whether or not we've chosen
Him as our great Sacrifice, to cover our sins, and be our Righteousness.
As every day
passes by we are ONE day closer to our Savior's return. We are one day closer to
all probation closing. These are FACTS. We have to know that the signs of time
and those signs only reveal the ever deepening deception, the ever widening
acceptance of evil as good, the unsteadiness of our very earth all are wake up
calls -calls to snap out of the stupor we've fallen into. Every single day we
are confronted by evil, it surrounds us in so much and it threatens to consume
us. Only our Savior can protect us, only our Savior can keep us from that evil.
The world needs to realize but it won't, those who emphasize the truth are
ridiculed and rejected.
Just recently in
the news there was an article about a woman who is going to run for president of
the U.S.- Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. The article was about her quitting her
church, why? Because her church holds the belief that the Papacy is the beast of
Revelation, that Catholicism is of the devil. The VERY thing we've been studying and
have proven through prophecy and history to be true!
This fact is brought into the public's eye, right there into the public's
spotlight and the fact along with it- that the potential presidential candidate
QUIT her church rather than be associated with a church that holds an unpopular
belief. She doesn't want to lose the Catholic vote come race time and why?
Because there are millions of Catholics, millions of potential votes she'd
alienate from herself. Do you see
it? Do you understand that a wake up call has been given and just how many will
believe it? How many will turn from their belief it apostasy? How many will turn
into apostasy? A cry has gone out for those willing to acknowledge it. In the
article about this it was mentioned that the belief about the Catholic church as
the beast dates back to Martin Luther and the Protestant reformation. Our history proves that it goes back
that far and further but the more common knowledge of it didn't begin to come to
light until the Bible was allowed to be read by more than just the Catholic
church. We know for a fact it had a great resurgence when knowledge was
increased in the very late 1700 early 1800's. We've studied this, and it isn't a
coincidence!!!!!!!! You can shrug all this off as if it were, but we are asking
for truth! We are asking for enlightenment! We are watching! We are
praying! We must not close our
eyes just because it's more comfortable to do so!
Please God help
us! Help us as we continue to study Your truths! Please…please Lord we want our
names in Your Book of Life, never to be stricken from it, never!!!!
We acknowledge Jesus as our Prophet, our Priest, our King, our
Righteousness!
By Your love,
Your grace always!
Amen.
