Separated from sin, how wondrous that will be!
Sin is such a part of our lives that we can barely recognize it at times. So many have called evil good that they truly believe evil things are good things. Likewise, so many are calling good things evil they've come to believe that too. Sin is so incredibly deceptive. To be separated from sin, that evil burden lifted from our lives, this is our hope. We accept our Savior's sacrifice, knowing He has taken on the penalty for our sins. He wants to reunite with us without sin separating us from Him. He is willing to take our sins so we can be reunited with Him that is how much He wants us to be His, to return to Him. It is a return, a reuniting, a rejoining, He wants us to belong to HIM willingly, lovingly. He needs us to recognizing that with Him we are complete, we are as we are supposed to be- loved perfectly.
Loved perfectly.
Loved undeservedly.
Loved selflessly.
Loved by God.

Ro.6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Living with Him.
When shall we live with him? Why, as soon as buried and risen with him, of course. Our life with Christ in the world to come is assured to us only by our living with him now in this world.
We are separated from sin, by death with him, in order that we may be joined to life in him.
The reader is asked to bear this in mind also until we come to the study of the next chapter.
